Dear Folks -
Dr. Randy Zercher is presenting in Ordinary Life a three part series he is calling “The Francis Factor.” The talks are his response to the recent conference put on by Father Richard Rohr’s organization, The Center for Action and Contemplation, where the featured speakers were Sister Dr. Ilia Delio and Shane Claiborne. The conference was powerful and empowering and Randy is sharing with us his responses to it.
This past week he talked about, using a reference from Buddha, how Pope Francis is a finger pointing to the moon. The moon in this case is Saint Francis. The “moon” toward which Saint Francis points is Jesus.
