Dear Folks -
First, I was remiss in failing to mention that this coming Sunday will be our third Odyssey experience. Those of you who desire can join me in the 9:45 worship service. Brooke Summers-Perry will teach at Ordinary Life. After both of these events, all who so desire will share a meal together. More information about all of this in the Preview you will receive on Friday.
All of the teachings we have been dealing with are designed to assist us in moving, from wherever we currently are in our intellectual/emotional/spiritual intelligence, to the next level. I’m referring to these teachings as “Threshold Theology.” I called the talk I offered this week -
The word “Namaste,” a traditional Hindu expression on greeting or parting, cannot sufficiently be translated into English. Roughly it means, “The Holy One in me honors the Holy One in you.” In order for us to do this honoring, we have to work at seeing “what is” as clearly as possible, rather than blaming or holding others responsible for the way things are. It is not easy work. It is essential.
That’s a brief summary of the talk I offered this week. The complete text, the presentation slides and audio can be found using the links below.
