Dear Folks -

The title I gave to the talk I offered this week in Ordinary Life was -

“Participating Creatively in Evolution - Spirituality With Zest”

I got the first part of the title from a piece written by Ilia Delio and the second from a question asked by Jesus. The greatest challenge the Christian church has is that of bringing its “doctrinal teachings” into our current cosmological understandings. If these teachings, as well as Jesus himself, are not rescued from the limited and limiting worldview in which they are currently captured, the future is bleak. What frees us, when it comes to Jesus, is not his death but his life and teachings. Our world is so divided today in so many ways. This is because we don’t know how to do unity. We don’t know how to do unity because we don’t know how to receive a positive “Self-image” from Sacred Mystery. We must do the work required to gain clarity about what we believe and why. Real religion is about making one out of two.

That is a very brief summary of the talk offered in Ordinary Life this week.

You can read or download the text from which I spoke, view the presentation slides, listen to the audio of the talk and/or watch the video of the talk using the links below.

If you are reading this, I want you to know how grateful I am for and to you.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
