Dear Folks -

It is, I believe, the responsibility of a spiritual teacher to do her or his work with the tradition, whatever that might be, in one hand and the newspaper in the other. The news of our time reflects that we live in a divided country and a divided world. Both people on the right and people on the left feel that their hoped for and believed in country is slipping away. How did we get here and how can people of faith go forward? That is what I attempted to speak to in the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week. I called it -
