Pillow Talk

This week we conclude the three part “series” on the Beatitudes that Dr. Holly Hudley has been co-teaching with me. The title that I have given the time is Pillow Talk. I take the reference from a personal experience I had with Thich Nhat Hanh years ago. Pillow talk, among other things, symbolizes rest and intimacy. It is a time of emotional connection where people can express their feelings honestly; thoughts that might not be expressed otherwise. It allows partners to share their vulnerabilities, their personal insecurities and reflections; thereby, strengthening their bond. All of those are worthy goals for what wants to happen when we gather.

Ordinary Life starts at 9:30, lecture at 9:45. Whether in person or online, I look forward to being with you in Ordinary Life this week as we continue “walking the wayless way.”
