“Our Most Urgent Need”

Dear Ones - 

The title I have given to the teaching I will offer this week in Ordinary Life is

 Our Most Urgent Need

 Our most urgent need today is a new sense of what the cosmic field of energy in which we live is all about. That, more than anything else is what can free us from the forces that are not only blinding us today but which are also leading us into a sea of destructive chaos. 

 Religion and tradition are helpful only and if they propel us into communities of care - caring for others and caring for the earth.

 This teaching is an in-depth look at this phrase in the Lord’s prayer: Give us this day our daily bread. In its original context it was a profound and powerful social statement.
