“Gift and Task”

Dear Ones - 

 If you have been attending Ordinary Life, in whatever way you do - either in person or in some “on-line” way, you are aware that I have been guided in constructing my teachings by going through the Jesus narrative found in “The Gospel According to Jesus” by Stephen Mitchell. This week we come to the end of our journey through the teachings commonly known as “The Lord’s Prayer.” What does it mean to ask “lead us not into temptation”? Does God lead people into temptation? What is the “evil” we are asking to be delivered from? The answer to these questions will, I hope, both surprise you and give us hope. I’m calling the teaching -
