Dear Ones - 

I will get to introduce The Rev. Barbara Robberson as our guest speaker this week in Ordinary Life. I have asked Barbara to do this because I will be preaching both services at St. Paul’s this Sunday. Barbara has spoken to Ordinary Life before and if you missed those opportunities, you will want to be present this week. I asked her to give me a few words about what she would be doing and this is what she sent me:

 “I have attended this class for the last four years of my ‘continuing journey’ and have experienced my spirit awakening into new understandings, stretched into deeper meanings, and challenged into a meaningful daily spiritual practice. Together, these truly offer the companioning Presence of Love. At the same time I have also been awakened by the deep spiritual practices of the Twelve Steps of AA. I will share how these two parallel experiences interact so beautifully. ( I will be referring to Thomas Merton and Richard Rohr as two other guides in my journey.)”
