Dear Folks -
One of the most profound paradoxes in doing wise and useful involves the fact that we cannot speak about the most important things and when we do misunderstanding is almost always bound to occur. Yet, and he is the paradox, we must speak about what matters most so that we can grow and gain in clarity about who we are and what we are to do. In the words of one of the greatest texts on mysticism ever written, we live in "the cloud of unknowing." It is this that I try to talk about in the "life talk" I gave in Ordinary Life this week.
