Dear Folks -
This week’s talk in Ordinary Life is entitled “Divinely Entangled.” It is a willingness to live with the faith that we are already whole, involved intimately with everyone and embraced by Sacred Mystery that makes us whole. This is contrary to what most organized religion teaches but it is, I am convinced, what is at the heart of the teaching of Jesus, the revolutionary Jewish mystic.
I am using the relatively recently discovered Gospel of Thomas to guide me in constructing my teachings. The teaching this week is about as mystical and mysterious as they come. You’ll find my current reflection on it in the text of the talk. As is frequently the case, the audio is somewhat different than the text.
