Dear Folks -

I will remind those of you in the Houston area that you have an unprecedented opportunity tonight to hear some of the most amazing and talented musicians in America. I’ve updated the Events menu item on the Ordinary Life web site to give not only all the details of tonight’s concert but also I’ve included a copy of the article about St. Paul’s Music Director, Dr. Paolo Bordignon, that appeared in the Houston Chronicle on Monday. The concert is free and is a rare opportunity.

The title of the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week was -

Don’t Worry. Be Happy.

I talked about the crucial importance William James has played in the worlds of psychology, philosophy and religion. Then gave some examples of religious goofs and bloopers I’ve collected over the years. I concluded by affirming that when we get what I call “the two faith questions” correctly answered, we are able to live with confidence no matter what.
