Dear Folks -

The talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week began with these words:

" We already have what we are seeking to attain. We must, however, continue consistently, persistently, and insistently to seek to attain what we already have or we will lose experiential awareness that we already have what we are seeking to attain."

The entire talk is really an elaboration on this thesis. I did go back to review what, to me, are essential features of the path we are exploring in this current series. Then, I began listing some  of the characteristics of people who have realized that identity. We call them, from whatever tradition they come, “mystics” or “enlightened ones.” These are people who have a highly developed moral capacity, who see their connection to all people and things and who have a commitment to a non-violent path. There are, of course, other characteristics. We’ll get to those in the weeks ahead. I gave this week’s talk this title -

“Seeking To Attain What We Already Have"

That’s a brief summary of the talk I offered this week in Ordinary Life. You can read the text from which I spoke, view the presentations slides and listen to the audio version of the talk using the links below.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
