Dear Folks -

After an event of interfaith dialogue sponsored by the Ordinary Life Women’s Group, things rapidly evolved last week that led to one of the Muslim women involved in that event coming to speak to Ordinary Life this past week. I am so grateful to Lynn Schroth for beginning this group and for Barbara Buckner for arranging for two different events that led up to this past Ordinary Life experience.

Barbara talked a bit about how the experience came about. Two of the women from Ordinary Life who were there - Sherry Beeman and Judy Leatherwood Smith - spoke briefly of their experiences. Then Shazma Matin, a Muslim, told her story and dialogued with me. I strongly encourage you to go on the Ordinary Life website and listen to or download the audio of the talk.

You can read or download the text, view the presentation slides and listen to the audio of the talk using the links below.

You can read the text from which I spoke below. You can find the presentation slides and the audio version of the talk on the Ordinary Life website.

If you are reading this, I want you to know how grateful I am for and to you.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
