Dear Folks -

Mark your calendar and make plans to come and hear Michael Morwood this coming Monday, June 3, at 7 p.m. You can learn more by clicking here.

James Hollis in his book, Living An Examined Life, says that every day we awake to find two gremlins sitting at the foot of our bed. One is Fear and the other is Lethargy. Which we choose to live with and how we choose to manage that is life-changing. We have  many valid reasons to be fearful. Thomas Merton wrote that fear lies behind all of our problems, individually, communally and globally. Once the Dali Lama was asked if he ever got angry. His response was, “Of course. But, it’s not a problem.” That is how I suggest that we learn to live with fear. We can embrace and live with values that won’t remove fear from our lives but will release us from anxiety.

That is a very brief summary of the talk I offered this week in Ordinary Life. I called it -
