Dear Folks -

My interest is in learning about, knowing, and teaching about matters that contribute to growth - especially growth in areas that contribute to the common good. One of the roadblocks on the way of this growth is composed of what Richard Rohr refers to as the three “P’s.” These are Possession, Power and Prestige. If we have a belief about ourselves that we are empty and need to be filled up, our culture teaches us to go to one of these three “P’s.” It doesn’t work. Spiritual masters have taught and demonstrated ways of simplicity and renunciation. There is certainly wisdom in this. And, further, there is wisdom in seeing how the abundance that we have been blessed with can be used in ways that contribute to our growth as well as the well-being of others and our world.
