I called the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week -

The Risks and Rewards of Holy Foolishness

I did that because all three characters in the parable “The Compassionate Father and His Two Lost Sons” behave “foolishly.” Actually, all of the living religions have a long history of “holy fools.” These people lived in a world where “mythos” was more important than “logos.” The call to life, love, and justice is a call into the life in the Spirit and not a call into a religion.

That’s a brief summary of the time in Ordinary Life this week.
