Dear Folks -
I stole a line from one of my all time favorite movies to use as the title of the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week. I called the talk
A New Life And A Day Without Fear
The movie is “Who Is Harry Kellerman And Why Is He Saying All Those Terrible Things About Me?” It stars Dustin Hoffman and Jack Warden and came out in the early 70’s.
We all want a new life and a day without fear. Especially when we wake up to the fact that the life we have been given involves, at the end for us all, death. We try in a wide variety of ways to deny or avoid this. Realizing, if we are lucky, that this is not in the cards, we long to live without fear. The talk is about how do we live without fear in the face of our inevitable deaths.
That’s a brief summary of the talk I offered this week in Ordinary Life. You can read the text from which I spoke, vuew the presentations slides and access the audio version of the talk using the links below.
Be well and much love,
Bill Kerley
