Summary of Ordinary Life for January 30, 2022

Dear Ones -

The talk offered in Ordinary Life this week had this title -

Letting Go of God

It is based on one of the “speeches” Jesus gives in the Gospel of John.

I begin by talking about what spiritual and religious literacy are. Holly talks about the role of active imagination in bridging the conscious and unconscious mind. In order to enter into Jesus’ experience of the Sacred the main idea that we have to shed is that of a punitive God. There is in truth no “God-seeking” because there is no place where God is not. The Gospel of John is about expanded life and living through expanded consciousness.

That’s a brief summary of the time in Ordinary Life this week.
