In Ordinary Life this week we offered some details on the upcoming deep dive into the Gospel of John. Then we offered a teaching based on the younger son in the parable of the compassionate father and his two lost sons. Holly Hudley addresses the missing maternal aspect. I say that we shy away from having a spiritual practice because of our fear of encountering what we have spent years denying, resisting or burying. A daily spiritual practice is not time out from life but a training for life. Deep understanding of self-worth comes from find our identity in the Mystery that contains, is in, and is all that is. We also badly need to redo our image of "God."
That’s a brief summary of the time in Ordinary Life this week.
